I'm a proud football momma, I love the game! Love to watch it on tv, go to college games , and to watch my son play. Parker is my football player. He loves to play football. He started asking me when he was six years old if he could play. I said "No Way!!" "Not till you are 10 years old!" Well I signed him up for flag football when he was in 2nd grade at FACS. At the first practice when he found out he couldn't tackle he said he would wait untill he was 10 because it wasn't worth playing if he couldn't "take them down." So he waited inpatiently for 2 more years. He began his career at 10 and has played for the CYAA for two years and both years has been a Tennessee Titan. By the way, his momma's favorite team. However this year we have to play for the GYAA in Germantown because he is to old for CYAA and to young for the middle school football team. The CYAA cutoff age is 11 (he's 12) and you have to be in 7th grade to play for Collierville Middle (he's going into 6th). But lucky for us GYAA's age cutoff is 12. I'm kinda glad because I don't know if I'm ready for middle school ball; Parker is ready, I'm not!! So we spent all last week at conditioning and I'm told he did real well. So Friday and Saturday were the evaluations and my husband said he did Great!!! Yeah!!! So for us it will be another season of football practices and games!!!
I can't wait for the first game!!!
